Personal Profile

Mr Sam Evans trained in the South West of England, before moving to Wales in 2009.  Mr Evans trained throughout South Wales, including Carmarthen before later moving to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. 

Mr Evans has completed sub-speciality higher training in Oculoplastic Surgery in addition to general training in a wide range of Ophthalmic conditions and procedures.  Mr Evans is a very experienced Cataract surgeon, and acts as a trainer and mentor for trainees within the NHS. 

Clinical Interests

Mr Evan's main NHS interests are in Cataract, Oculoplastic and Orbital conditions and surgery.  In addition Mr Evan's treats many patients with Glaucoma and general Ophthalmic conditions.

Mr Evan's endeavours to provide services and expertise in the best way to serve his patients. He prides himself on working closely with patients and their families to understand their concerns and deliver high quality care in order to help them to live a fulfilled life.
