I trained in the South West of England initially, before moving to Wales in 2009.  I have trained throughout South Wales, initially in Carmarthen before later moving to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. 

I have completed sub-speciality higher training in Oculoplastic surgery in addition to general training in a wide range of Ophthalmic conditions and procedures.  I am a very experienced Cataract surgeon, and act as a trainer and mentor for trainees within the NHS. 

Clinical Interests

My main NHS interests are in Cataract, Oculoplastic and Orbital conditions and surgery.  In addition I have a large caseload of patients with Glaucoma and general Ophthalmic conditions.  I endeavour to provide services and my expertise in the best way to serve my patients.  I pride myself on working closely with patients and their families to understand their concerns and deliver high quality care in order to help them to live a fulfilled life.
