Mr Sam Chan is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Priory Hospital in Birmingham. 

Mr Chan was appointed consultant at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust in October 2016, with a special interest in shoulder and elbow surgery.

He qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2003 and trained in Orthopaedics in Birmingham including a training fellowship at the Hand, Shoulder & Upper Limb Unit at the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry. He has completed a Shoulder & Elbow Fellowship with Peter Brownson at the Liverpool Upper Limb Unit.

Mr Chan runs a busy upper limb trauma and elective practice at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham and has a specialist interest in complex shoulder and elbow trauma, arthroscopic shoulder and elbow surgery and upper limb arthroplasty.
