He also manages kidney stones, prostate conditions, and urological cancers, using modern, evidence-based treatments.
Mr Yallappa’s practice at University Hospitals Birmingham functions as a tertiary referral service for andrology in the West Midlands. He regularly reviews patients with complex or specialist men’s health conditions, including erectile dysfunction following prostate surgery.
He completed his surgical training in India and the United States, including a period as a Surgical Resident at the University of Pennsylvania. He subsequently undertook advanced specialist training in urology in the UK and completed a ChM in Urology at the University of Edinburgh, graduating top of his class and receiving the Henry Wade Gold Medal. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Urology (FRCS Urol) and completed a Post-CCT Fellowship in Andrology at University College London Hospitals.
