Personal Profile

Dr Blair has a wealth of dermatology experience totalling over 20 years, with 8 years as a Specialty Doctor at Western Infirmary, Glasgow, and as a Consultant Dermatologist Royal Alexandra Hospital Paisley since 2017.

Dr Blair is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education, as well as the educational supervision of Dermatology trainees, with her skin cancer education block for trainees including surgical training. She is published in peer reviewed journals including Clinical and Experimental Dermatology and the British Journal of Dermatology. Dr Blair wrote a chapter for a book on adherence challenges in Dermatology, and has also helped develop Scottish guidelines for cutaneous sarcoma.

Her practice involves all aspects of adult dermatology including psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea, and hidradenitis. Dr Blair has a special interest in skin lesions - malignant and benign - and skin cancer surgery including cyst removal, skin flaps and grafts. 

She has been the Lead for Skin Cancer in Clyde for 8 years running weekly multidisciplinary team meetings, and is an active member of West of Scotland regional Skin Cancer multidisciplinary team.

Please note, Dr Blair does not currently see BUPA patients. Dr Blair only sees patients aged 16+.
