About Ross Bowser

Personal Profile

Ross is a highly experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Clinical Specialist in shoulder conditions, with over 16 years of experience helping patients return to movement, sport, and everyday activity with confidence. He graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2010 and has built his career around delivering high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation.

Ross has a strong passion for exercise-led rehabilitation and performance-focused recovery. He believes successful rehabilitation is about more than reducing pain — it’s about restoring strength, control, and trust with a variety of treatment options. To support this, Ross is trained in Isokinetic (IKD) strength testing, allowing objective measurement of strength and function so rehabilitation programmes can be precisely tailored to each individual’s goals.

He works closely with a number of renowned consultants across Birmingham, providing a collaborative and seamless approach to care. Alongside his clinical practice, Ross has contributed to teaching at several professional events, sharing his expertise in shoulder rehabilitation and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Ross completed his joint injection training through the University of Essex in 2018, enabling him to offer a wider range of evidence-based treatment options where appropriate. He is also trained in Shockwave Therapy, allowing flexibility in managing persistent or complex conditions.
