About Dr Robert Bernstein

Personal Profile

Dr Bernstein studied at Cambridge and trained at London teaching hospitals (UCH, St Thomas’s, Royal Free, Royal Postgraduate Medical School) and in the USA. He was a consultant in rheumatology and general medicine at Manchester Royal Infirmary 1985-2007.  His research in clinical areas on treatment including tocilizumab and autoimmunity resulted in well over 100 publications and 9700 citations.
