Dr Hammonds is an Endoscopy Trainer at the Mersey School of Endoscopy (one of 3 national training centres).

He is an Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopist working as part of the regional Hepatobiliary team, receiving regional referrals from across the North West. He practices in a very patient-centred way; being a patient himself taught him a big lesson in the importance of being kind and compassionate.

Dr Hammonds works privately from The Alexandra Hospital, which has level 3 ITU and fantastic facilities for his patients.
