About Mr Richard Inman

Personal Profile

Mr Richard Inman has been a Consultant Urologist since 2005 and has developed his sub-specialty and tertiary practice in reconstructive surgery, andrology and reconstructive surgery as well as keeping up to date with general urological problems.

He is a committed trainer and has trained junior doctors as Royal College Surgical Tutor, and regularly lectures and mentors junior doctors specialising in reconstructive urology.

He has been Clinical Director for the Urology Department in Sheffield since 2015, and is involved in national schemes for improving the outcomes and efficiency of urological services.

Since 2005, Mr Inman has had a sub-specialist interest in male sexual dysfunction, and Peyronie's disease, urethral strictures and their treatment. He is experienced in using minimally invasive endoscopy and urethroplasty and is invited to teach and lecture about urethral surgery for international urological meetings. He is experienced in vasectomy and has performed microscopic vasectomy reversal for over 10 years, and treats male fertility problems.
