Personal Profile

Dr Madrigal is a Consultant Allergist with over 15 years of experience. Trained in Spain, he currently serves as a consultant in the Allergy & Asthma Centre at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust – the largest NHS trust in the UK. Dr Madrigal is one of the small number of physicians on the GMC Specialist Register for Allergy. He is highly proficient in all aspects of allergy care, and is particularly recognised for his expertise in drug hypersensitivity. He serves as Secretary of the World Allergy Organization’s Drug Hypersensitivity Reactions Committee and a member of the Standards of Care Committee (SOCC) for the British Society for Allergy & Clinical Immunology (BSACI), where he actively contributes to advancing allergy care standards in the UK.

Honoured as an international fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI) for his research, Dr Madrigal has published extensively in high-impact journals and serves on the editorial board and reviewer panel of prominent allergy journals. A passionate educator, he teaches at medical schools, MSc drug allergy courses and conferences.
