Personal Profile

Mr Keriakos has been is a Consultant Gynaecologist within Sheffield NHS Teaching Hospitals since 2002, with a private practice at Thornbury Hospital.

He had his full training both abroad and in Manchester and worked as a consultant overseas for two years before becoming a Consultant in the UK in 2000.

He had advanced training in laparoscopic surgery both in the UK and France

Mr Keriakos has been research active and have published more than 30 articles and research papers in international journals.  He has peer reviewed papers and presented at national and international meetings.

He acts as a peer reviewer for more than twenty international journals,  and has reviewed more than 70 research articles. He is currently a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Acute Disease.

Mr Keriakos also enjoys holding the position of Chairman for British Society of Psychosomatic Obstetrics and Gynaecology, organising, chairing and participating in meetings and Workshops at the RCOG World Congress, RCOG Annual Professional Development and International Society of Psychosomatic Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Mr Keriakos has thirty years of experience in gynaecology. The gynaecological conditions treated over those years have been numerous.  He has a special interest in minimal access surgery (keyhole surgery), pelvic floor repair and psychosexual problems.
