Dr Sharma provides oncology consultation, chemotherapy and other systemic therapies at Albyn Hospital for breast, and skin cancers (melanoma and non melanoma).
Patients requiring radiotherapy treatment undergo planning and treatment at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where they will remain under the care of Dr Sharma.
Dr Sharma has been a Consultant Clinical Oncologist in Aberdeen since 2008, having previously trained at Nottingham City Hospital, Derbyshire Royal Infirmary and Addenbrooke's Hospitals.
He has a special interest in breast cancer management and maintains active involvement in clinical research and teaching medical students and junior doctors.
Dr Sharma’s specialises is in the non-surgical treatment of cancer including the use of radiotherapy, chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, immunotherapy and the use of novel targeted agents.
