Personal Profile

Dr Raghavendran is a Consultant Dermatologist providing private dermatology care at Droitwich Spa Hospital. She specialises in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions, with a particular focus on skin cancer and skin oncology.

She completed her medical degree at The Dr MGR Medical University in Tamil Nadu, India, before undertaking further training in General Medicine. She later became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in London. Following this, she specialised in Dermatology through the West Midlands training programme and achieved the Specialty Certificate in Dermatology.

Alongside her private practice, she works as a Consultant Dermatologist at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, where she leads weekly skin cancer clinics, general dermatology clinics, and skin surgery lists. She has also held leadership roles within the department, including Skin Cancer Lead and Governance Lead.

Her clinical expertise covers the full range of dermatological conditions, with a strong focus on early detection and treatment of skin cancer. She regularly manages patients with suspicious lesions, mole checks, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other inflammatory skin conditions, providing both medical and surgical dermatology care.

Dr Raghavendran is actively involved in research and professional education. She has presented at major national and international conferences, including the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). She has also contributed to peer-reviewed dermatology publications.

In addition, she plays an important role in training future dermatology specialists and currently serves as Educational Lead for dermatology trainees, supporting their clinical development and education.

She welcomes GP referrals as well as self-referrals. Patients can be seen privately through medical insurance or self-pay, with a focus on providing timely access to expert dermatology assessment and treatment in a supportive clinical environment.
