Dr Bala-Vuyyuru trained both in India and UK in General Medicine and Cardiology. After holding senior positions in Tertiary cardiac centres in Hyderabad, she has been working in UK as Consultant Cardiologist and Physician.

She has wide experience in managing a variety of cardiac problems. She is experienced in Coronary angiogram, Echocardiography and cardiac interventions. Dr Bala had been a Visiting Cardiologist at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in USA.

She is an member of the AF forum, PAH forum and Cardiac CT forum and an active participant in South East Cardiac Prescribing Network and Cardiac & Stroke Network. She authored a book on Medical Emergencies and contributed articles and chapters on Silent Ischaemia and Echocardiography.
