Dr Raina Mittal is an experienced General Practitioner with more than 30 years in medicine. She has worked across primary and secondary care and has extensive experience in general practice, including as a GP Principal, salaried GP and locum GP.
Her clinical work includes general practice consultations and comprehensive health assessments, with experience in preventative healthcare, lifestyle-based care and the management of long-term conditions.
Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Mittal is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen, where she teaches undergraduate medical students, supervises projects and contributes to examinations and assessment.
She also works as a Primary and Secondary Care Appraiser within the NHS, supporting GPs and secondary care clinicians with continuing professional development, reflective practice, quality improvement and revalidation. Dr Mittal has also worked as an Educational Supervisor for GPs and Foundation Year doctors.
She holds MRCGP, DFSRH and DCH qualifications, a CCT in General Practice, a Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine and the British Menopause Society’s Management of Menopause Certificate.
