Dr R Chauhan trained from UCMS Delhi, India in 1983. This is one of the top ranked medical schools in India. He has practised medicine in United Kingdom since 1986. He passed MRCP (London) in 1992. He has been FRCP since 2003. He pursued his specialist General Medicine Training in North West Deanery. He has been a Consultant Physician since 1996. He has been on acute medicine on call rota. he has a specialist interest in Care of The Elderly and Gastroenterology. He has also looked after a Covid ward during pandemic. He has one of he highest numbers in FHFT in performing Gastroscopies and Colonoscopies. 

His currently a full time position as a Consultant Physician at Wexham Park Hospital FHFT. He is a staff governor for Wexham Park and he is a MAC member at Princess Margaret Hospital, Circle Health Group. He has been a lead for Wexham Park medical Unit for four years. 
 
Due to the wide variety of patients seen over the years he is one of the most experienced physicians in the area with a wide repertoire. 
 
He is a member of BMA and Alliance Medical UK.

Mr Chauhan is a well-rounded physician with a broad repertoire of clinical skill. He has a special interest are elderly patients who have multiple co-morbidities.
His sub-specialty interest is in gastroenterology, and is able to carry out gastroscopies and colonoscopies with regular lists for both. As well as, procedural work like oesophageal dilatations, PEG placement and colonic polypectomies.
