After graduating from Pakistan and completing Specialist training in General Surgery and working as a consultant for 2 years, Mr Jalal pursued his surgical training in the UK starting his work at Royal London Hospital London. He has subsequently moved to Sheffield, working at Northern General Hospital Sheffield. He has been working as a senior Clinical Fellow Hepatobiliary Surgery and subsequently working as Consultant General, Hepato-pancreatico-biliary Surgery 2019.
Mr. Jalal's main clinical interests are minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery for gallstones, with special interest in management of acute Gallbladder pathologies. He has vast experience Consultant Profile Web & Directory Form Circle Health Group Hospitals Form updated as of March 2023 of more than 10 years, offering safe surgeries to acutely inflamed Gallbladders. Mr. Jalal performs laparoscopic hernias repairs, and cancer surgeries for liver, Pancreas and Gallbladder. He performs Endoscopic Retrograde Cholagiopancreatiography (ERCP) for benign and malignant disease pathologies. He has a strong academic background and has been extensively published in peer reviewed scientific journals, including a book chapter. He has extensively presented at national and international forums. He shares a passion to teach and train the next generation of doctors, and is a training faculty at multiple courses & workshops.
