Dr Dassan is a Consultant Neurologist and Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Ealing Hospital. She qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School. She was awarded an MD (Res) from University College London following her research at the Institute of Neurology in Queen Square, where she studied the role of novel biomarkers in patients with acute stroke.
At Ealing Hospital she reviews patients with a wide range of neurological problems (including patients with migraine, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, peripheral neuropathy, multiple sclerosis etc). At Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, she does a specialist clinic in obstetric-neurology at Queen Charolette’s and Chelsea Hospital, where she reviews pregnant women with neurological problems. This includes a specialist pre-pregnancy counselling service with up-to-date advice on medications and course of pregnancy for women with pre-existing neurological problems who wish to fall pregnant.
