Dr Peter Enwere is a highly skilled consultant geriatrician with over 20 years of experience in general internal medicine and geriatric medicine. He has been working within Ashford and St. Peters Hospital NHS Foundation trust as a consultant geriatrician for the past 7 years, where he has made significant contributions to the field.
Currently, Dr Enwere is the clinical lead for Senior Adult Medical Services (SAMS) Department and also the clinical lead for Dementia and Delirium. He has an excellent track record in managing complex medical conditions in older adults and is renowned for his exceptional care of patients suffering from dementia and delirium.
Dr Enwere qualified from the prestigious Medical University of Pécs, Hungary, in 2001. Prior to relocating to the UK in late 2004, he worked at the University Teaching Hospital, Faculty of Medicine in Pécs, Hungary. He has been practising medicine in the UK since then, working within the NHS.
In 2021, Dr Enwere achieved the prestigious Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Geriatric and Medical Gerontology through the renowned European Academy for Medicine of Ageing. This achievement further cements his reputation as a leading expert in the field of geriatric medicine.
Dr Enwere is an educational and clinical supervisor with a background in teaching, coaching, and mentoring skills. He was awarded first prize for the consultant ACE (Acknowledging Consistent Excellence) in 2020 for his immense contribution in teaching junior doctors in training and medical students from St. Georges and Imperial medical universities.
