About Mr Paul Skinner

Paul Patrick Skinner Personal Profile

Mr Paul Skinner qualified from Sheffield University, and his surgical training was mainly in Sheffield and region.

From 1995, his training was specifically in general surgery and then the sub-specialism of colorectal surgery. After achieving completion of surgical training, he undertook a 6 month post at St Mark’s Hospital for colorectal disease in London; a national centre for colorectal diseases. He achieved further training in colonoscopy.

Mr Skinner was appointed as a Colorectal and General Surgeon in 2000 for Northern General Hospital. He continues in full-time practice and trains and teachers student doctors and trainee surgeons.
