Mr Paul Modi

Mr Paul Modi is a British, US and German-trained consultant cardiac surgeon with expertise in minimally invasive (keyhole) and robotic heart surgery. He performs over 120 mitral valve operations per year, possibly the largest practice of Minimally Invasive and Conventional Mitral Valve Repair / Replacement in the UK.

He is the only surgeon in the UK performing robotic heart surgery and one of the pioneer surgeons in the UK to perform totally endoscopic robotic mitral valve repair.
He is a national and international trainer (proctor) in many of these techniques.
