About Dr Paul Matthew Crowe

Personal Profile

Dr. Paul Crowe is an interventional radiologist with extensive experience over 20 years and with established practices in Birmingham and London. After graduation from Trinity College Dublin Medical School in 1988 he completed comprehensive training in radiology and further interventional radiology subspecialist training and has been a consultant at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital since 1998. He is an active member of the British Society of Interventional Radiology (BSIR) and sits on the Safety and Quality Committee.  

Dr. Crowe was one of the first in the UK to offer uterine artery embolisation for fibroids and to date has successfully completed over 7000 procedures. The Priory Hospital is one of the few private hospitals outside London equipped to  offer the full range in interventional radiology procedures and Dr. Crowe also undertakes treatment of adenomyosis, pelvic congestion syndrome due to pelvic varicose veins and testicular varicocele as well as prostate artery embolisation for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). He also performs ultrasound, CT and MRI scanning and supports cancer services  by providing venous access procedures (Portacath, Hickman line, PICC line).
