Mr Scott qualified at Manchester University, trained in the North West, and worked as a Consultant Surgeon in East Lancashire for 26 years before recently moving to work at St James University Hospital in Leeds. 

He has a wide experience in general surgery and has taught on basic surgical skills courses and laparoscopic courses. Mr Scott is also a OSCE examiner.
