Mrs Alshurbasi is an oncoplastic breast surgeon, offering the full range of breast diagnostics and treatment, including Breast cancer surgery, Breast Reconstruction, and cosmetic Breast procedures such as Breast Augmentation with Silicone implants, or Breast enlargement with own fat (fat remodelling), Breast uplift, and Breast reductions.
She was trained as a general surgeon and gained thorough experience in Breast cancer surgery and Breast cosmetic surgery after undertaking a highly competitive two years fellowship in surgical oncoplastic surgery.
Currently, she is a Consultant Breast surgeon in Chesterfield Royal Hospital, prior to this she has worked in Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and Rotherham General Hospital. She is engaged in training junior surgical doctors, and engaged with undergraduate teaching.
