Mr Nnamdi Nwaejike has a medical degree from Queen’s University Belfast and an master's degree from Queen Mary’s, University of London.
On completion of basic surgical training in Northern Ireland, he was appointed National Cardiothoracic Trainee in the North West of England, including rotations in Plymouth, Bristol and Papworth Hospitals. Mr Nwaejike graduated from the accredited Advanced Cardiothoracic Fellowship Programme at Duke University Hospital, NC, USA.
On completion of training, he was appointed Consultant Cardiac and Cardiothoracic Transplant Surgeon at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester.
Mr Nwaejike has published research papers, presented his work at national and international conferences.
He is the Trust Specialty Training Lead in Cardiac Surgery at Wythenshawe Hospital, MFT. Mr Nwaejike sits on the North West Cardiothoracic Surgery Training Committee.
