He is an Associate Honorary Professor in Clinical Neurology and Clinical Director of the International Centre for Excellence in Parkinson’s Disease at Nottingham University. For many years Dr Bajaj was a neurologist to the Working Age Memory & Dementia service at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. He has managed busy general neurology clinics in both Nottingham and Derby for over 15 years and has extensive experience in the full range of neurological acute and chronic conditions.
He has a keen interest in headache management and has worked with international colleagues in the molecular characterisation of migraine genes.
Dr Bajaj has the national and international profile as a Parkinson’s clinician and is Clinical Director of the National Parkinson Foundation International Centre of Excellence in Parkinson’s at the University of Nottingham. Dr Bajaj has extensive experience in evaluating memory difficulties in patients of all ages as well as the complex diagnostics and drug management of dementia.
