Dr Natalie Boyle is a Consultant Ophthalmologist, currently working in NHS Golden Jubilee as a high volume cataract surgeon.

After studying medicine at Edinburgh University, Dr Boyle trained in Ophthalmology in Newcastle Upon Tyne and the West of Scotland. She also undertook subspecialist training in Oculomotility and Paediatric Ophthalmology at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. Dr Boyle has been a Consultant since 2005, first in NHS Ayrshire and Arran, then in NHS Fife, before moving to NHS Golden Jubilee.

She specialises in cataract surgery and Oculomotility, which is the diagnosis and treatment of eye movement disorders and conditions.

Dr Boyle's cataract surgery practice includes the use of Toric intraocular lenses where appropriate. Her outcomes and complication rate are well below national standards for cataract surgery.
