About Dr Najma Khan Bourne

Personal Profile

Dr Najma Khan-Bourne is an experienced consultant clinical neuropsychologist who works part-time in the NHS as Lead for Neuropsychological Neurorehabilitation in Kings College Hospital NHS Trust and in private practice.

She trained at the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College London. Since qualifying she has had several clinical appointments within the NHS in a variety of posts covering the full range of acquired neuropsychological issues including traumatic brain injury and stroke as well as epilepsy and the dementias. 

She carries out regular CPD and regularly lectures and teaches on clinical neuropsychology issues. She has worked with the National Institute of Clinical Excellence, the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman and the Royal College of Physicians. Dr Khan-Bourne has been Vice-Chair of the Emotional Working Party of the London Stroke Clinical Network and is also a member of the Policy Unit of the Division of Neuropsychology of the British Psychological Society.
