About Mr Naing Tint

Personal Profile

Precise, meticulous with safety and outcomes that are second to none, Mr Tint is considered one of Scotland’s top cataract, lens and laser refractive surgeons. With training from world renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital, he brings his unique skill set back home to Scotland. 

He is a full time NHS consultant at the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion, Edinburgh, and is active in research and teaching of trainee surgeons. He is currently the Surgical Simulation Lead in Lothian as well as being active in surgical teaching at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

In addition to satisfied patients from all walks of life from the UK and abroad, he has also treated TV and Radio personalities, leaders in business and medical and ophthalmic professionals and their families.
