Dr Muhammad Nadeem Iftikhar

 Dr Iftikhar is a consultant Gastroenterologist with specialty interest in liver disease. He has vast experience in hepatology, gastroenterology, endoscopy and medical education.

His NHS practice is at the Northern care Alliance group in Manchester, with clinical duties mainly at The Royal Oldham Hospital, Rochdale Infirmary, Fairfield General Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital.

Dr Iftikhar is actively involved in the provision of gastroenterology services at The Royal Oldham Hospital including outpatient clinics, endoscopy lists and is JAG accredited.

Dr Iftikhar completed his specialist training in Health Education  and live transplant fellowship at the Liver unit of Freeman Hospital Newcastle upon Tyne and has worked in the North West since 2007.

He has trained in the world renowned units of liver, nutrition and gastroenterology including South Manchester University Hospital and Leicester Royal Infirmary. 

Dr Iftikha is an active medical, educational and clinical educator accredited by the Royal College of Physicians London.
