Personal Profile
I am a Consultant ENT and Head and Neck Surgeon at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Spire Cheshire Hospital and Circle Cheshire clinic.
I received comprehensive training in all aspects of ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgery in India, the United Kingdom and Australia. I undertook specialist fellowships in head and neck cancer and thyroid surgery in both the United Kingdom and Australia.
My practice encompasses the full range of adult and paediatric ENT conditions. I have extensive experience in a broad range of surgical procedures, including adult and paediatric tonsillectomy, surgery for snoring and sleep-related breathing disorders, nasal surgery to relieve nasal obstruction, and endoscopic sinus surgery for chronic sinus and nasal conditions. I also perform endoscopic assessment of the upper aerodigestive tract for the investigation and exclusion of head and neck cancers.
My surgical practice also includes thyroid and salivary gland surgery, excision of skin cancers of the head and neck, removal of neck lymph nodes and cysts, procedures for glue ear and recurrent ear infections, and surgery for a range of voice and laryngeal disorders.
I am committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based and patient-centred care across all aspects of ENT and head and neck surgery. I have particular subspecialty interests in head and neck pathology, including thyroid cancer, and in the assessment and treatment of voice disorders.
