He is highly invested in minimally invasive urological surgery, having undertaken advanced fellowship training across Europe, including at Heidelberg University in Germany, the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, and Portsmouth University Hospitals. This extensive advanced training enables him to offer the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques.

In addition to his expertise in robotic prostate cancer surgery and prostate cancer diagnostics, Mr Ali provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of urological conditions. He has expertise in the management of benign prostate enlargement and urinary tract stones using minimally invasive techniques. His practice also includes the treatment of bladder cancer, kidney cancer, testicular cancer, urinary tract infections, scrotal conditions, and erectile dysfunction.

Mr Ali has been a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England since 2020 and holds an MD in Urology. His research focused on minimally invasive treatments for kidney stones, reflecting his longstanding commitment to advancing surgical innovation and improving patient outcomes.

Alongside his clinical practice, Mr Ali is actively involved in research, surgical education, and quality improvement. He has numerous peer-reviewed publications and leads initiatives to enhance patient care, including the introduction of day-case radical prostatectomy. His contribution to prostate cancer services has been recognised through his selection as a Prostate Cancer UK Clinical Champion.
