He has expertise in the management of benign prostate enlargement and urinary tract stones using minimally invasive techniques. His practice also includes the treatment of bladder cancer, kidney cancer, testicular cancer, urinary tract infections, scrotal conditions, and erectile dysfunction.
Mr Ali has been a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England since 2020 and holds an MD in Urology. His research focused on minimally invasive treatments for kidney stones, reflecting his longstanding commitment to advancing surgical innovation and improving patient outcomes.
Alongside his clinical practice, Mr Ali is actively involved in research, surgical education, and quality improvement. He has numerous peer-reviewed publications and leads initiatives to enhance patient care, including the introduction of day-case radical prostatectomy. His contribution to prostate cancer services has been recognised through his selection as a Prostate Cancer UK Clinical Champion.
