About Dr Monika Saha

Personal Profile

Dr Monika Saha BSc MRCP MD consults on all general adult and paediatric dermatology. She holds an NHS consultant post at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.

She consults on all general adult and paediatric dermatology. Specialist interests include skin cancer, blistering conditions, eczema, psoriasis and complex medical dermatology such as Lupus.

Dr Saha qualified at King's College London in 1998. Her specialist training in dermatology included several top London teaching hospitals.

She values the importance of research in helping improve patient care and spent two years at St. John’s Institute of Dermatology culminating in an MD in Immunobullous disease, a field in which Dr Saha has published a number of original articles. For her research Dr Saha was awarded a British Skin Foundation grant, BSID and BAD fellowships.

Dr Saha also holds an external examiner post at King's College London for dermatology MSC students. She is the founder of the 'The New Dermatologist' teaching initiatives.

She was the President of St John’s Dermatological Society for the academic year 2022-2023.
