While training to be a GP, he worked in a number of hospital specialties including general surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, gynaecology, orthopaedic surgery and psychiatry, acquiring a wide range of invaluable experience.

As a GP, Miraj treats patients of all ages and manages long-term conditions as well as acute illnesses. He is particularly interested in managing endocrine system conditions as well as mental health illnesses, but is experienced in supporting patients across the broad range of conditions managed by GPs. He values providing personalised care to his patients, taking their individual circumstances into account, and strives to maintain robust continuity of care through clear documentation and appropriate follow-up.

Miraj has worked across several GP practices in West London throughout his career. He currently works as an NHS GP in Ealing and continues to do so alongside his clinics at Harrow Health Care Centre. He is approved as an educational supervisor, training resident doctors who undertake placements in general practice. He is the GP Educator for his primary care network where he supports the education and training of the multidisciplinary team across 14 GP practices. In addition, he works as a GP specialist advisor to the Care Quality Commission, where he takes part in inspections of both NHS and private GP practices to ensure that the fundamental standards of quality and safety are being met.

Miraj focuses on providing safe, effective and high-quality care for all his patients. His extensive experience as an educator is evident in the detailed explanations he provides when working collaboratively with his patients to agree their treatment plans.
