Personal Profile

Mike is a Senior Physiotherapist at Woodlands Hospital in Darlington.

He graduated in 2000 with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree. He has worked in the NHS for almost 10 years, and has just commemorated 10 years of continuous service at Woodlands Hospital.

Mike furthered his qualifications by gaining a post-graduate certificate in Applied Clinical Anatomy from Keele University in 2009. He also has a post-graduate qualification in Assessment & Management of Shoulder Disorders as well as Joint & Soft Tissue Injections. He has done various courses in Hand Therapy with the British Association of Hand Therapists (BAHT). Mike has also done all but one of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) Instructional Courses.

During his career, he has developed special interest in hand therapy and orthopaedic rehabilitation.

He has an interest in healthcare quality and health inequalities and has a diploma in Global Public Health.
