Mr. Chatzikonstantinou is a Consultant Upper Gastrointestinal and General Surgeon at Blackheath Hospital and a substantive NHS consultant at University Hospital Lewisham (UHL), specialising in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery. With over 15 years of experience and a portfolio of more than 1,000 laparoscopic procedures, he is an expert in the surgical management of gallbladder disease, abdominal wall hernias, and acid reflux in South East London.

He completed his surgical training in London at several prestigious institutions, including King’s College Hospital and St. Thomas’ Hospital. He further specialised in Benign UGI and Bariatric Surgery through a Royal College of Surgeons Senior Clinical Fellowship at University College London Hospital (UCLH) and holds a Master’s degree in Surgical and Interventional Sciences from University College London (UCL).
