About Miss May Wahab

Personal Profile

Ms May Wahab is a Consultant Gynaecological Surgeon with wide experience in different aspects of general gynaecology. She was awarded her MD degree at the University of Leicester for her studies on the endometrium and management of menopausal symptoms. She is also an accredited endoscopist , providing a wide range of minimal access surgery to improve recovery times for her patients.

Ms Wahab qualified as a consultant in 2002. She is always looking for ways to improve outcomes for her patients and has special interest in the minimal access management of menstrual disorders, endometriosis, pelvic floor surgery and management of prolapse. She is accredited in laparoscopic surgery and colposcopy. She also provides treatment and advice for early gynaecological cancers.

Ms Wahab has a particular interest in, abnormal bleeding, bleeding after intercourse, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, ovarian cysts, fibroids, prolapse, endometriosis, polyps in uterus, endometrial ablation, laparoscopic and vaginal hysterectomy.
