About Dr Matthew Sawa

Personal Profile

“The process of finding a knowledgeable and trustworthy Psychiatrist can be very emotionally draining, confusing and daunting. I am fully aware of how courageous it is to attend the first Psychiatrist’s appointment. I know as well that this stage is the outcome of a long process started a while back by recognising that there is something not right and it needs addressing. I am wholly mindful as well that the response of loved ones and friends can range from being supportive and understanding to totally dismissive and judgemental“

The following is a recent feedback from one of Mr Sawa’s patients:

“Dr. Sawa is an excellent psychiatrist. He was very professional, compassionate and helpful. He gave me clear guidance and a treatment plan which we both agreed upon. Despite what I feel must be his very busy schedule, it was great that he was able to respond to my emails seeking his advice in between appointments. He was very beneficial to my wellbeing. I would highly recommend him to anyone struggling with mental health“
