About Mr Mark Tomlinson

Personal Profile

Mr Mark Tomlinson trained in London as a General Surgeon before moving to the North of England in 2005, working across Lancaster and Kendal, establishing extensive experience in both NHS and more latterly into private practice.  In the past few years Mark has relocated part of his practice to the South West of England.

Mr Tomlinson currently runs a private practice across two CHG sites: Lancaster Hospital and Bath Clinic. His private work focuses on modern varicose vein treatments, hernia repair, and gallbladder surgery. He also undertakes minor surgical procedures, including the removal of skin lumps and cysts, as well as injection treatments for thread veins.

He provides outpatient assessment and management for thyroid and neck lumps, vascular conditions, and leg ulcers, and is able to offer extended consultations for more complex or challenging abdominal problems when appropriate.
