About Mr Mark Liefhebber

Personal Profile

Mark qualified as a physiotherapist in 1994 at the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands. He arrived in the UK soon after his qualification and started in NHS. Since 1998 he has been providing physiotherapy for private patients.

Mark is very experienced in delivering personalised physiotherapy assessment , goal setting and active muscle and joint programmes for both post-surgical patients customers as well as anyone needing a diagnosis and treatment plan for existing aches and pains.

His approach is to look for any muscular imbalances that may be an underlying cause for stubborn injuries and symptoms. Treating the cause as well as the symptom would be a feature of the physiotherapy treatment.

Mark is keen to provide physiotherapy for a whole range of fitness levels and is very experienced in matching the treatment intensity to the patient's ability and tolerance.
He is particularly interested in lower limb conditions  ( including feet) as well as shoulders.

Lastly, Mark is also very experienced in knowing when to provide physiotherapy as well as when to refer on for further investigations
