Mr Henwood qualified in 1993 from medical school in Cardiff.  He trained in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery in the Northern Oesophago-gastric Unit.

Mr Henwood was appointed as a Consultant at West Wales General Hospital in 2006.
