Personal Profile

Dr Maria Roest has been a Consultant Dermatologist at HCA The Lister Hospital since 2007 and served as a Consultant Dermatologist at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from 2003 to 2015.

She held the position of Lead for Skin Cancer at ASPH North Surrey from 2008 to 2015. Additionally, she was an Honorary Part-time Clinical Fellow in Skin Surgery at St John’s Institute of Dermatology in 2004. Dr. Roest completed her Specialist Dermatology Training (CCST) in Oxford in 2003 and was a Dermatology SHO at St John’s Institute of Dermatology during 1998 and 1999.

She holds a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology, with a dissertation focused on Pre-operative Skin Disinfection, obtained in 1991, and graduated in Medicine from the University of Bristol in 1994.
