Personal Profile

Mr Moussa a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist originally graduated in Egypt and started his basic surgical training in one of the largest tertiary units in Egypt. While there he completed both his Masters and MD degrees. He further went on to complete his advanced training in the West Midlands, England.

Mr Moussa is the Clinical Lead for Obstetrics and Gynaecology department at the Great Western Hospital. He has extensive experience in all aspects of gynaecology practice having worked in prestigious tertiary units both inside and outside the UK. He is one of the regional supervisors for training in benign gynaecology and hysteroscopy.

Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at the Ridgeway hospital, Mr Moussa is dedicated to his patients, and in setting out a process of offering the best treatment and care for one's condition and/or particular needs.  Communication, coordination, and effective teamwork ensures all his patients are offered the best care possible. Mr Moussa oversees consultations, investigation, and treatment of a wide range of gynaecological conditions including:

  • Diagnostic laparoscopy (keyhole surgery)

    Conveniently, several of Mr Moussa's patients receive treatment through the out-patient clinic, or the day case unit. This means they receive treatment without having to stay in hospital overnight, Patients can relax and recover in the comfort of their own homes. For more complex treatments which require in-patient care, Mr Moussa and his team are on hand throughout your stay.  

    On a personal note, Mr Moussa loves to spending quality time with his family; he is a proud father of three children. He enjoys playing tennis and travelling, especially to new destinations. He does distance running, along with his wife, for small charity events. They help support children in need, in low income and deprived countries.
