About Dr Maheshwar Chaudhari

Personal Profile

Dr Mahesh Chaudhari is a Consultant in Pain Medicine/Anaesthesia. He has an NHS practice at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, where he is the Lead Consultant for Pain Clinic services.

He completed Specialist training in Anaesthesia and Pain management through the West Midland Deanery’s rotational training scheme. He underwent advanced training in Pain Management and has been awarded Fellowship of Faculty of Pain Medicine from the Royal College of Anaesthetists, London.

He is experienced in managing chronic pain of various origins. He uses a variety of pain management techniques and treatments, including medications, TENS machines and injections. Dr Chaudhari strongly believes in offering comprehensive multidisciplinary pain management through close links with referring therapists and clinicians. He therefore often utilises the expertise of Physiotherapists and Psychologists where appropriate, in order to try and decrease not only the pain, but also the disability associated with it.

Dr Chaudhari has many National and International presentations to his name and teaches on courses for anaesthetic examinations. He has contributed to various Academic book publications.
