About Lucinda Maloney

Personal Profile

Dr Lucinda Maloney qualified in Medicine from Kings College London in 2009. During her medical degree she also undertook a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Psychology. She began her career at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester with roles in General Medicine, Elderly Care, General Surgery,  Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, A&E and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr Maloney has been working at a GP Surgery in Alton since 2016 and has progressed to being the Managing Partner there.

Dr Maloney is experienced in all areas of general practice care. She particularly enjoys her role as named GP at a local Nursing Home, which indulges her love for Elderly Care Medicine and Palliative care.  During her General Practice training, Dr Maloney also completed the Diploma of the Faculty of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and she has a keen interest in Women’s health and Menopause.

Training and education are hugely important to Dr Maloney and she is currently a trainer for junior Doctors in her NHS role. This allows her to stay up to date and continue learning which is a life long passion.

Holistic medicine and health promotion are very important in Dr Maloney’s clinical practice and she enjoys having the time and ability to address medical concerns thoroughly and with a patient centred approach. At The Hampshire Clinic Dr Maloney has excellent facilities at hand, including for blood tests, scans, and onward referral to a range of Specialist Consultants to enable rapid diagnosis and Specialist input.

Outside of work Dr Maloney enjoys spending time with her young family, and at weekends can often be found running in the Hampshire countryside.
