Personal profile

Louise qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1998 at Kings College, University of London. Since then she has spent the majority of her career working in the NHS specialising in complex musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.

She has worked in a variety of different settings including a specialist orthopaedic hospital, consultant clinics, primary care and most recently as a Clinical Specialist in a MATT (musculoskeletal assessment, triage and treatment) service, being responsible for the diagnosis, investigation and onward management of complex MSK conditions.

She then moved to The Ridgeway in 2022 to lead the team as Clinical Service Manager. She continues to see all types of MSK conditions and has a special interest in complex MSK conditions and hypermobility.  

She is IR(ME)R registered and can order radiological investigations as required. She is also a qualified injection therapist, and can inject peripheral joints, such as for arthritis, frozen shoulder and carpal tunnel.
