Personal Profile

Lizzie is a Clinical Specialist in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy with extensive experience in the treatment of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. Lizzie qualified from Sheffield Hallam University in 2010, with a First Class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy. Following this, Lizzie developed a passion for Pelvic Health Physiotherapy working within the NHS. Lizzie has extensive experience in Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecology Physiotherapy and has specialised in Pelvic Health in Private Health Care alongside her NHS role for several years. Throughout this time, Lizzie has completed large service evaluation projects to improve service provision, presented at The Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecology Conference (POGP) and featured in their Journal, completed several clinical guidelines to improve services and provided teaching/education within Physiotherapy Teams. Lizzie is currently completing a Masters Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice in Pelvic Health at Brunel University London.

 

Lizzie provides specialist physiotherapy for a wide variety of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction in Women's and Men's Health. This includes the assessment and treatment Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Persistent Pelvic Pain, Sexual Dysfunction, Recovery from Pelvic Surgery (Prostatectomy, TURP, Pelvic Floor Repair, Hysterectomy) and problems with the function of the Bladder or Bowel (Urinary Incontinence, Overactive Bladder, Faecal Incontinence).

 

In her spare time, Lizzie is passionate about promoting the importance of Pelvic Health outside of clinic. She has volunteered in humanitarian affairs in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and supported local projects, promoting Pelvic Health Physiotherapy at local sports/health facilities/clinics.
