About Leong Yoon Hiew

Mr Hiew was appointed as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Morriston Hospital, ABMU NHS trust in 2006. He practices general plastic surgery but is a sub-specialist in breast reconstruction, including the correction of congenital breast asymmetries. He graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1992 and underwent surgical SHO training in the West of Scotland. 

He trained in plastic surgical centres across the UK, including Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Chester and Swansea. During his training, Mr Hiew completed a sub-specialist fellowship in oncoplastic breast reconstruction in Manchester.

Mr Hiew has published widely on the subject of breast surgery and is actively involved in the training of junior doctors.
