Dr Baburaj got his rheumatology training from Grampian University in Aberdeen. He joind as a consultant in Rheumatology at West Hertfordshire NHS Trust in 2005. His NHS work is based at Watford Hospital as well as St Albans City Hospital. 

His Professional commitments include Rheumatology outpatient and inpatient work, regular training of rheumatology registrars and General Practitioners. He also runs joint injection courses for trainees and general practitioners.
