Dr Sundaram trained in London University at Guy’s Hospital / UMDS. He completed specialist training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology in South West Thames Region. He also conducted research into Helicobacter pylori.
Dr Sundaram was appointed as a Consultant Gastroenterologist in 2004. He is now the Service Lead for Endoscopy, and is an accredited Bowel Cancer Screening colonoscopist.
