About Dr Kiran Sachane

Personal Profile

Dr Sachane specialises in musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain of either single or multiple origin providing a personalised, holistic approach as well as perform interventional procedures when necessary to provide package of pain management. He uses targeted nerve techniques with ultrasound and x-ray to promote a prompt and speedy recovery.

Dr Sachane is a Consultant in Pain Medicine at Kings Park Hospital. He is highly experienced in both the assessment and treatment of pain. In addition, he is also working as a Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia at NHS Lothian Trust, Edinburgh in a multidisciplinary team set up on Biopsychosocial model.

He has completed a prestigious fellowship at the world-renowned centre for pain management, Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Liverpool. Dr Sachane also committed to continuing professional development and regularly attend lectures and conferences to keep my knowledge and skills up to date.

Dr Sachane regularly teaches trainees and other medical personnel as well as presents abstracts and posters at national and international conferences. He is a keen researcher and involved in researching new forms of neuromodulation as well as medicines for the long-term treatment of neuropathy/pain.
